The following statements must be confirmed when travelling on a DFDS Spot ticket:

Tickets are single (one way) crossings only. A separate booking will need to be made if you require a return crossing.
Bookings cannot be amended once payment has been made. Any differences at check-in will render the booking null and void. This includes adding extra drivers or changing vehicle length. Please ensure you are certain about all the details before proceeding with payment.
Payment must be made in full at the time of booking, by debit or credit card. Your booking number will be issued once payment has been processed.
Ticket purchases made online are non-refundable and are valid for 10 days, after which time the booking will expire.
If you will be transporting hazardous goods or shipping with an out of gauge vehicle, you must contact our Customer Services to make your booking. You can contact our Customer Services on +44 1304 874001 / dover.fbookings@dfds.com or call .
The price is quoted in Euros only and includes the fuel surcharge (which changes monthly).If you wish to receive a quote in GBP, please contact our Customer Services. Information such as cargo and driver’s details will be taken at the time of check-in.
All engines must be switched off while on board our vessels. Please advise our staff at check-in if you require a plug-in. Plug-ins are free of charge but there is limited availability.

Are you prepared for ELO?

From the 20th April 2026, you must present an Obligatory Logistics Envelope (ELO) for all Channel routes. This is mandatory and applies to ALL empty and loaded trucks for imports, exports, and transits.

You must present a single ELO barcode for scanning at the Smart Border. Without a valid ELO, we cannot register your loads for shipment.
