Finding answers with the right partner

Volvo Trucks and DFDS have enjoyed a longstanding partnership spanning decades. In recent years, this collaboration has focused on decarbonising European supply chains through the use of electric trucks.

The partnership began with DFDS testing and providing feedback on Volvo Trucks’ electric truck prototypes. It has since evolved to demonstrating the commercial viability of electric trucks and expanding their adoption in new markets across Europe.

Operating electric trucks across eight markets has required addressing physical, cultural, and regulatory challenges. This is the role of frontrunners: to forge a path others can follow.

And with the right partners, we will always find a way.
