Head to eastern Europe from Germany on an overnight ferry crossing from Kiel to Klaipeda. Explore the charming port town of Klaipeda and its 18th century architecture before venturing on. Famous for its natural landscapes, follow the Lithuanian coastline to the turquoise waters of the Curonian Spit or travel inland to rural, rolling landscapes, dotted with thatch-roofed cottages and farmlands.
