DFDS invites schoolchildren from Seine-Maritime to create the new mascot for cross-Channel ferries
DFDS is pleased to unveil its "Design the Future Mascot of the Transmanche Ferries" competition. Aimed at students from CP to CM2 in Seine-Maritime, this competition aims to make the Dieppe-Newhaven line known to students in Seine-Maritime in a creative and fun way.This competition, anchored in the renovation phase of the ferries that connect Dieppe to Newhaven, allows children aged 6 to 11 to contribute to the visual identity of the Alabaster Coast Ferries and Seven Sisters by creating its future mascot. After three months of modernization, the Seven Sisters will be the first of the two ships to come out of the hold at the end of January 2024.
The traverses to be joined
Encadrés par leurs enseignants, les élèves sont invités à explorer leur imagination et à donner vie à des ideas sur papier. DFDS invites you to learn more about the écoles élémentaires to inspire the history of the maritime world and create the mascots of small and large mascots.
And in return, the nombreux prix attendent les jeunes artistes, don't be one "piétons" outre-Manche for chaque élève de la classe gagnante. A draw for the prize is a matter of time, for the 3 classes selected by the jury. DFDS applauds the enthusiasm and inspiration of the young people's enthusiasm for their creative adventure and the passion for fair development of their future mascots on the road to Transmanche.
Competition regulations Durée : Du lundi 01 janvier (00h01) au dimanche 31 mars (23h59) 2024. Participants : Classes des écoles élémentaires (CP au CM2 inclus) de la Seine-Maritime.
