Brighton in Summer
Brighton & Hove is Britain’s favourite seaside summertime resort, with expansive beaches, the beautiful pier and sunny, south coast weather.
The city is also a flurry of excitement throughout the summer, as countless festivals pass through. With music, comedy and craft festivals, as well as plenty more, there’s a festival for every interest each summer in Brighton.
Just a short drive from our Newhaven port, hop on a ferry crossing from Dieppe for a summer trip to Brighton. Alternatively, we offer routes from Dunkirk and Calais to Dover, as well as Amsterdam to Newcastle.
Brighton- the Host City
Brighton will, without a doubt, be very busy during the summer months with many festivals for you to attend!
There are gastro events, including alcohol, food and vegan festivals. There’s also the annual Brighton Festival which is a celebration of the arts and at which you can see fantastic live performances.
One of the city’s biggest summer events is Brighton Pride Festival. Taking place in Preston Park, this lively event is an amazing celebration of the LGBT community.
