Family fun in Oslo

There are many opportunities for a fun day in Oslo for both young and old.

If the weather is good, a visit to the famous Vigeland Park is recommended. It takes an hour to go there, but the experience of seeing the many sculptures in all forms and materials of the world is well worth it. The sculptures are made by the Norwegian artist Gustav Vigeland, and there is also an associated museum and a café where you can feel hunger and thirst.

If the weather is less good, another opportunity is to take a trip to the Norwegian Technical Museum, which through play and learning focuses on technology, industry, science and medicine. The museum creates fun and engaging communication for people of all ages through the more than 25 permanent and temporary exhibitions. The trip to the museum takes about half an hour by line L3 from the Central Station.
