There is plenty to see and do in Norway's capital. Walk along the main street Karl Johan where several official buildings are located, including the Storting, the National Theater and the Castle. Not far away is the harbor with the Town Hall, and at Rådhusplatsen you can see the beautiful building that houses the Nobel Peace Center. As a traveler with DFDS you also get a 25% discount on the entry - just show the boarding card when you buy the entrance ticket.

Oslo is a city where you can easily get around on foot, but if you still want to use public transport, we recommend buying a day card, a "24-hour ticket", to Oslo's public transport. This applies to bus, tram, subway and ferry (the ferries go to the museums at Bygdö - the most beautiful short cut across the fjord).

Don't miss the Oslo Official City App. You get updated info on tourist attractions, shopping, special events and hotels. It also contains an offline map so you do not need to connect to roaming to find your way around the city.
