A look at the winter experience
A MiniCruise to Oslo gives you access to the best of the city. In the winter, the cozy and one-hour ice rink Spikersuppa, by Karl Johan, is popular. If you want smaller skating rinks, Frogner Stadium, which is 30 minutes away from the city, is definitely worth a visit. You can also ski close to the city - it only takes half an hour by subway to get to SkimoreOslo, where skis are rented.
At Korketrekkeren, Oslo's most popular toboggan run, which is located approx. 1 hour from the city, you can take a 2000 meter long toboggan ride in 10 minutes! At the foot of the toboggan run you can take a short metro ride that brings jert back to the start. The corkscrew is open from December to March and offers toboggan rentals.
