New Year's Eve
Many efforts have been made to make New Year's Eve a unique and festive New Year's party onboard our special minicruise to Oslo. Our chef has put together an exquisite New Year's menu with paired wines and the ship's crew as well as guests will be dressed to impress for the big evening.
Traditionally, the champagne pops at midnight on a truly unique New Year's Eve party.
Champagne and a tasty wreath cake can be enjoyed later in the evening for supper so no one goes to bed hungry from the DFDS New Year's party.
No taxi required this New Year's Eve
One of the many benefits of celebrating the New Year on our ferry to Oslo is that your bed is never longer than 5 minutes away. As New Year's Eve draws to a close the party begins to end, you can relax knowing you are staying at a floating hotel where your cabin and soft duvets await.

Happy New Year
Surrounded by sea views, we welcome the new year together when the clock strikes twelve, the wreath cake is served and the champagne corks burst in the middle of the sea. Later we serve a little simple night food so no one goes to bed hungry.
