DFDS reveals the secrets of its new ferry, the Côte d'Opale

With just a few weeks to go before its official inauguration (next August), DFDS is offering a glimpse of its new vessel, which will new vessel that will be providing Calais-Dover crossings to replace the Calais Seaways from from the summer of 2021.

The interior of the Côte d'Opale has been designed by the Swedish company Figura, which has designed all the ships in the E-Flexer family.

In order to match the DFDS footprint and ambitions, SMC Design, the company's long-standing partner in the modernisation of the Channel vessels, was also closely involved in the project. in the project. DFDS and SMC Design sent their plans to Figura for the company to apply to the the interior of the Côte d'Opale in order to maintain harmony with the other ships in the DFDS fleet.
