Temporarily one vessel on the Paldiski-Kapellskär route

DFDS temporarily operates the Paldiski-Kapellskär route with one vessel

Due to an unexpected delay in the docking of ships sailing on other DFDS routes, M / S PATRIA SEAWAYS is temporarily moving from the Estonian-Swedish route to the Lithuanian-Swedish route.

“Until the end of 2021, DFDS will operate the Paldiski-Kapellskär route only with the ship M / S SIRENA SEAWAYS. After arriving in Kapellskär on Monday, September 13, M / S PATRIA SEAWAYS went to Klaipeda to serve the Klaipeda-Karlshamn route, ”said Anders Refsgaard, Vice President of DFDS and Head of Baltic Business.

The Estonian-Swedish route will continue to be served by M / S SIRENA SEAWAYS in both directions with six departures per week. The company will resume its normal two-ship schedule in early 2022.

DFDS Winner World Travel Awards 24

Proudly named the World’s Leading Ferry Operator

We did it! After being crowned ‘Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator 2024’ at the World Travel Awards earlier this year, we are delighted to announce we have retained our title as the World’s Leading Ferry Operator.

We were also once again recognised as having the best website in our industry – scooping both the European and World awards in 2024.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who voted, and to our passengers, colleagues and partners who contribute to our continued success – we couldn’t do it without you all.
