Six Nations 2025 fixtures  

There are five rounds in the Six Nations, played between Friday 31st January and Saturday 15th March. The matches are played in cities across each of the six participating countries, so there are opportunities to watch the Six Nations in London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Rome, Cardiff, and of course, Paris.   

The Stade de France will host two matches in 2025:  

  •  Round 1 - France vs Wales – Friday 31st January 

  • Round 5 - France vs Scotland – Saturday 15th March

The Stade de France is an iconic hub for major sporting events. With a capacity of 80,000, it's the largest stadium in France. It offers an incredible atmosphere for rugby enthusiasts, so get ready to enjoy a bustling, energetic match.   Here is some essential information about visiting the Stade de France:  

  • Arrive at least 90 minutes before kick-off to allow for any delays and time to find your seat.  

  • Check the Stade de France website for permitted/prohibited objects before your visit.  

  • There are plenty of food and drink options available in the stadium. Alcohol is not sold inside the stadium, nor can you bring any alcohol onto the premises.  

  • Bring a photo ID. 

  • Download the official Match Day app for real-time updates. 

4.Stade de France – Iconic Venue

How to get to the Stade de France  

Located just north of Paris in the suburb of Saint-Denis, the Stade de France is well-connected and straightforward to reach.   To reach the stadium by public transport, here are your options: 

  • The metro: Take metro line 13 and get off at Saint-Denis – Porte de Paris station. 

  • Bus: Bus routes 139, 153, 170, 239, 353 and 255 will bring you close to the stadium.  

  • Tram: You can take tram line T1 to Hôpital Delafontaine or the T8 to Saint-Denis - Porte de Paris station – both stations will bring you close to the stadium.  

If you're driving to the Stade de France, you can reach the stadium via the A1 or the A86. Only vehicles with a pre-booked access ticket may use the stadium’s three car parks, so don't forget to book in advance. Parking is available for both cars and motorbikes.

Where to stay for the Six Nations 2025

If you’re looking to stay close to the Stade to France to avoid the queues, there are several accommodation options near the stadium. However, keep in mind that this area will likely be on the pricier end.   To make the most of your trip, we recommend staying in the centre of Paris, just a short metro ride from the Stade de France. For easy public transport to the stadium, search for accommodation near Montmartre, Gare Saint-Lazare or Gare du Nord, one of Paris' main railway stations.
