2. Newcastle - the most fun city in the north
Enjoying food and drink together is, in our opinion, what makes Christmas so cosy and this can be done very well in our favourite English city: Newcastle. At the Continental Christmas Market in Newcastle, you can enjoy German bratwurst, Belgian waffles and crepes from France. The International Christmas Market is also highly recommended! There are also more must-sees if you go Christmas shopping in Newcastle, check them out in this article.

From Christmas markets and beautiful city centre buildings lit up in a virtual winter wonderland to Christmas-themed merry-go-rounds and a Santa Dash, there's something for everyone this Christmas. Go ice skating at The Ice Experience - one of the largest ice rinks in the UK. It's worth a trip to Glasgow!

Each stall is filled with unique products, from special gifts to delicious treats. End the afternoon skating in the Winter Wonderland and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows or a glass of gluhwein. The British sure know how to celebrate Christmas!
