Hafjell

Ski holidays in Hafjell - Norway's 3rd largest ski resort

Hafjell has both serious skiing for the experienced and smaller trails for children and beginners. Only approx. 15 km from Lillehammer you will find Hafjell. There is a ski bus in Hafjell, which runs between the hotels in the center and the Hunderfossen, the alpine center, shops and Gaiastova. The bus is a free offer for ski guests, and with the ski bus you can get around quickly and easily. The departures match the opening hours of the alpine center.

Children

The children's area at the foot of the alpine hill has, among other things, ski lifts, figures and jumps as well as child-friendly belt lift. 'Barneland' for children (4-6 years) has skiing, tobogganing, barbecue and much more. For children aged 3-7 there is a nice indoor children's area. As something new, the Hafjell Alpine Center offers a new family area at Mosetertoppen, with a large play area, fun activities and a restaurant. Many common activities such as children's skiing, tobogganing, bonfires, etc. Activities depend on the season.

Alpine and Snowboarding

Hafjell has a good ski resort with, among other things. 1 gondola lift and 2 express chair lifts that quickly bring you to the top of the alpine area. Here are downhill skiing in all difficulty levels. The height difference of 830 m is one of the largest in the Nordic countries. Hafjell Alpincenter is sheltered by forest terrain and has high snow safety as well as a large extended snow cannon plant. There is also evening driving a few days a week. For snowboarders, there are two major parks with many challenges. When buying Lillehammer Skipass / Liftkort, the ski resorts in both Hafjell, Gålå, Sjusøen, Skiekampen and Kvittfjell can be used. All located within a reasonable driving distance of Hafjell.

Cross country skiing in Hafjell

In Hafjell there are good opportunities for cross-country skiing with a large trail network of groomed and marked trails. Here you will find a wealth of great hiking opportunities over the mountains towards Nordseter / Sjusøen, and Hornsjø or north towards Lisetra. The cross-country trails start at the top of Hafjell Alpine Center at the Gondola peak or Gaiastova.

Hafjell

Hafjell is located approximately 180 km from Oslo and a little more than two hours driving distance. All cabins are located close to everything, and many cabins have ski in / ski out, so you can hop on the slopes or the lift just outside the door.

Oslo Winterpark

Only half an hour drive from the DFDS terminal, Oslo Winter Park is at the top of Holmenkollen. Oslo's beautiful resorts have pistes of all colors and a large terrain park.

Kvitfjell

Kvitfjell, also called the ski enthusiasts' winter paradise, is located approx. 3 hours from Oslo. Here are 33 ski slopes suitable for beginners and those who want a challenge at the Olympic level!

Norefjell

About 1.5 hours drive outside Oslo you will find Norefjell. The area has a bit of everything - for all ages and all levels, and the short drive from Oslo makes it the perfect destination for short weekends and long skiing holidays.
