FOOTBALL TRIP SUNDERLAND VS. NORWICH CITY
SUNDERLAND VS. NORWICH CITY - LIVE AT THE STADIUM OF LIGHT
Sunderland AFC, multiple winners of the English Championship, is a club with a tradition dating back to 1879 and recently caused a stir with the Netflix documentary ‘Sunderland “til I Die” (2018). The Black Cats' opponents are Norwich City, also known as “The Canaries” due to their club logo and history.
The record of previous matches between the teams is very even - at the end of the 2023/24 season, however, Norwich finished 6th in the table, ahead of Sunderland in 16th place. It promises to be a hot duel between two ambitious teams - be there live!

Things to know about the teams - Sunderland v Norwich City
Sunderland recently appointed Régis Le Bris as their new coach, who is expected to bring new tactics and new vigour to the team. The development of young talent is also paying off for the club: Pierre Ekwah in midfield is known for his vision and passing skills. And with the signing of 18-year-old star player Jobe Bellingham, the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude, Sunderland's goals could be within reach.
Norwich City can also look back on a string of successes, including winning the League Cup twice (1962 and 1985) and the Second Division Championship five times. With Callum Doyle, a new talent and promising midfielder on loan from Manchester City, Norwich are aiming for promotion and a return to the Premier League.
