Klaipeda city break

Klaipeda-P2

Klaipėda - the port city in Lithuania

Visit Klaipėda during a short holiday including hotel&breakfast. Discover this beautiful port city with its hidden treasures. Optionally, you can travel by car, camper van or motorbike if you want to be flexible on location.

Start your tour at the Theatre Square right in the heart of the Old Town with a walk across the city - there are numerous small sculptures to discover: a park bench with a chessboard game, the golden wonder mouse and many more. In general, the locals are creative artists as well as poets and thinkers, which is reflected in an extensive selection of museums and exhibitions.

A visit to the Sculpture Park and the Memelburg Museum is particularly recommended. Along the Dane River is Klaipeda's promenade with small cafés and traditional restaurants. Klaipeda enjoys a historic old town with inviting restaurants, bars and cafés. They put a lot of emphasis on local and home-grown products and create typical Lithuanian and modern dishes.

We have taken a number of safety measures onboard to enable you to have a worry-free crossing.

Gate to the Curonian Spit

Our little insider tip for your city trip is a visit to the Curonian Spit - one of the most beautiful headlands in the world.

There you will find miles of sandy beach and the most beautiful dunes, which look dreamlike in picturesque contrast to the deep blue of the Baltic Sea.

We recommend a trip to the Curonian Spit as a foot passenger by ferry from Klaipeda (Old Ferry Terminal, North Horn, Danes g. 1) to Smiltyne: timetable and price list.
