Christmas in Tivoli Gardens
Christmas in Tivoli Gardens
Tivoli will open its doors to visitors on November 18, ready for Christmas and New Year's Eve, with activities sich as meeting Santa Claus with elves, riding a pony and tasting traditional Danish pancakes on offer.
Every year, the park area is adorned with over 2 million lights and countless garlands and Christmas decorations. The kiosks offering a variety of food, sweets, hot drinks, knitted garments, leather goods and crafts create a unique Tivoli Christmas atmosphere. The illuminated area of the park becomes like a fairy-tale world with elves and deer walking in the streets, workers entertaining visitors at the skating rink and sweets and hot drinks being served in small cottages traditionally painted in red. Three different water and light performances of about 5 minutes are played several times a day, so make sure you don't miss this spectacular scene.
